THE CATTACHS
Brora Rangers were formed in 1879 and initially joined the Scottish Football Association in 1933. We were accepted into the Scottish Highland Football League in 1962. In 1979, the club won the Scottish qualifying cup with a 5 – 0 victory over Peterhead.
Since then, the club has gone from strength to strength, winning 4 Highland League Titles, 2 Highland League Cups and the North of Scotland Cup on 7 occasions.
In recent times, the club has continued to grow and in 2021 pulled off one of the greatest shocks in Scottish football history, knocking Heart of Midlothian out of the Scottish Cup, making global news in the process.
In the future, the club has strong aspirations of becoming a Scottish League Club and progressing up the pyramid. We are continuing to strengthen off the pitch with a strong board in place with a wide range of skillsets.
